Introductory Workshops are
geared towards students with little or no glassblowing experience,
this class will begin by showing students how to safely handle
hot glass before making an array of projects out of solid
and blown glass. Students may want to take this class twice
before moving on to our Next
Steps class.
Next
Steps intermediate classes for students who have already
taken our introductory glassblowing class, or have previous glassblowing
experience. Students in this class will focus on understanding blown forms, and
learn to make their own decisions about shaping the glass. Classes are scheduled
on demand.
Private
Instruction can be arranged once a workshop is completed.
$90/hr includes studio rental at 1 bench and
instructor. Can be split by up to 4 people, 2 is ideal.
4 hr minimum.
Studio
Rental is available to advanced glassblowers only.
$65/hr includes all tools and materials except color. 4
hr minimum,
can
be split by 2 people sharing 1 bench.
Group
Glassblowing Instruction is a great way to
try glassblowing with your friends and co-workers. Create
a
flower, pumpkin, holiday ornament or paperweight, while
learning the basic techniques of glassblowing in a short
time. Limited to
a
pace of 10
people
per hr. with a 2 hour minimum. $250. per
hour.
Refreshments (drinks, snacks,
birthday
cakes, etc.) can only be brought in by renting our bar area
for an
additional $50./hr. Catered events require full facility
rental (see
below).
Private
Glassblowing Party for
up to 150 people. The studio and gallery are all yours for
the night! Catering and music are up
to you – we'll take care of the glassblowing activity
(limit of 10 people/hr, fee & details described above). Click
